Donna Tung is the director for Asia at IAS Group. Since joining IAS in February 2008, Ms. Tung has worked on issues related to international trade, investment, U.S. competitiveness, and the Chinese economy. She continuously tracks global trade and financial data and prepares analysis for clients. With IAS President Charles Blum, she researched and wrote  “Appreciation of the Renminbi: What's Happened - and What Hasn't” and “Fundamental Tax Reform: The Key to American Competitiveness.” Ms. Tung is currently researching U.S. infrastructure problems and possible solutions. She also works on cross-border industry cooperation and provides strategic solution to clients' investment needs.

Ms. Tung has expertise in data analysis, market and industry research, strategic planning and international business development. Drawing on her advanced computer skills and proficiency in website design and development, she has built and maintained numerous websites, including two that are multilingual (Chinese and English).

Ms. Tung is the founding member of Chinese Association for Public Affairs and serves as Webzine committee member for Women's Council on the Energy and Environment. Ms. Tung earned a B.A. in diplomacy from Taiwan's most prestigious social science college, National Chengchi Univeristy, and a M.A. in international affairs from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University.  A native of Taiwan, Donna is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese, and is currently learning Korean and Japanese.
