IAS Releases Report on Iraqi Oil Industry
NEW YORK, NY – March 17, 2011 - International Advisory Services Group, Ltd. today announced the release of a report on the Iraqi oil industry in the IAS Energy Memo series. The report includes basic figures on reserves, production, exports, distribution, prices, and refining; information on oil contracts between international oil companies, the central government and the Kurdish regional government; and an assessment of infrastructure, contractual and political investment risks. Detailed and up-to-date charts and maps of oil concessions provide invaluable data not available elsewhere.
Carolyn Amon, vice president of trade and energy at IAS, said that this report serves as an “excellent primer for companies considering investment opportunities in Iraqi’s oil industry. Backed by staff expertise in energy sector development in emerging markets, IAS is ready to assist companies with identifying and assessing investment projects, and doing business in Iraq.”
Since its founding in 1988, IAS has advised and coordinated investment teams for international partnerships and acquisitions. IAS focuses on the special challenges encountered in emerging markets, particularly China, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Iraq, and Africa.
